08/08/2023 --- On 8 August 2023, New Zealand Centre at Peking University hosted a delegation of 10 emerging business leaders who were visiting China as part of a study tour organised by the North Asia Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence (North Asia CAPE) at University of Auckland.

In the wake of New Zealand Prime Minister His Excellency Chris Hopkins’ visit and address at Peking University on 28 June, New Zealand Centre at Peking University welcomed a delegation of North Asia Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence based at University of Auckland. On 8 August, headed by the Centre Director Mr. Charlie Gao, a group of 10 emerging business leaders visited Peking University. The group represented New Zealand’s diverse services-sector, which includes segments such as: tourism; international education; film, media, and creative industries; financial services; and software. This was the majority of the group’s first visit to Peking University, where the New Zealand Centre is based.
