Pro Vice-Chancellor of Auckland University of Technology Professor Guy Littlefair Visits Peking University
18/10/2023 --- Pro Vice-Chancellor of Auckland University of Technology Professor Guy Littlefair paid a visit to Peking University, along with AUT Director of International Relations and Recruitment Mr. William Ho.
On 18 October, 2023, ProVice-Chancellor of Auckland University of Technology Professor Guy Littlefair paid a visit to New Zealand Center at Peking University with his colleague Mr. William Ho, Director of International Relations and Recruitment at AUT. As Director of New Zealand Center, Professor Liu Shusen and NZC Secretary A/Professor Liu Honghong welcomed Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Guy Littlefair and Mr. William Ho and had a productive meeting, the first of its kind with AUT leaders when the three-year pandemic is over.

At the meeting in the office of New Zealand Centre, after an introduction to the development of the NZC since its establishment in 2007 and the significant support and contribution of all the eight NZ universities including AUT, both Professor Liu Shusen and A/Professor Liu Hongzhong shared their fond memory of visiting AUT in 2018 and those AUT colleagues who had visited Peking University before and after the pandemic, including Professor Zac Morse who visited the Centre in June this year. Then an extensive discussion was followed on how to restart new collaboration between AUT and PKU, including some of the disciplines that could be prioritized for consideration.
